What is Girl Force?

We are a non-profit community that seeks to teach game development skills to girls and women in the Ottawa area. The bulk of the sessions come in classes provided in evenings. We will also offer learning tools and resources through our blog and website while our social channels act as a knowledge share network. Perfect for those who want to be a part of Girl Force but opt out of the formal classes.

Who is it for?

Girl Force is open to women, and non-binary folks who are motivated to learn something new in the field of video games or technology. No experience is required, but a desire to learn is a major asset. If you ever dreamed of making games for a living or as a hobby, this program is for you.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! This program aims to be free to all. Members require access to a laptop, but for those requiring assistance we try to provide hardware if necessary.

Amazing! How do I get more information?
